THERE’S STILL TIME FOR SUMMER READING! – Make an account on the READSquared app or website, log what you read, and participate in special activities to earn raffle tickets! We will have a drawing at the end of the summer.

Bendy Bookworm Storytime – Thursday, August 6 – ideal for kids ages six and under, this is a great way to get kids moving and reading! This event will be broadcast on Facebook – no registration required!

Unique Creatures – Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00pm to 4:30pm – kids and toddlers – get the chance to meet and learn about some of the most interesting animals from all over the world, live on Zoom!

Zoom Party with Mr. Chris from Magical Melodies – Friday, August 14 from 10:30am to 11:30am – Join Mr. Chris to sing songs and dance along with your friends!

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS: Digital storytime! Miss Kate reads two books and sings a song.
EVERY OTHER TUESDAY: Arts & Crafts or Wacky Science! Get step-by-step instructions on crafts to make and experiments to try from home.
THURSDAYS: Check out “Miss Kate Recommends” for Miss Kate’s favorite picture books, chapter books, young adult books, and more – all available free with your library card online.
FRIDAYS: Miss Kate’s Book Talks give you a closer look at a novel for older kids or teens, including a reading from the book and the reasons Miss Kate loves it.

Restorative Yoga & Guided Meditation with Karen Noel – Thursdays from 11am to 12pm – Seasoned yoga practitioner Karen Noel will take you through a series of held yoga postures and easy-to-perform breathing and visualization techniques. You can count on a relaxing, rejuvenating experience! Wear loose fitted clothing. Eat a light breakfast. You’ll need a mat, towels, or blanket.

Knitting Club – Wednesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 19 at 7:30pm – While the library is closed, meetings will be held via Zoom. Email to receive a link to join.
